SEZP Family Survey 2024-2025
Families, please take a few minutes to complete the Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership (SEZP) Family Survey. Schools with strong family engagement have students who are more likely to succeed academically. You can complete the paper copy your student received from their crew or homeroom teacher or you can respond online. Please make sure you take a picture of the competed survey so your child can get credit for the completed survey. tntp.org/springfieldsurvey
New Programs from The Community Music School
Our brand new African Dance and Drumming group will begin this Saturday at CMSS from 12:15-1:15pm. This group is for any SPS students and their families. Students can drum, dance or do both. This group is open to all SPS students, families, teachers and staff. We will cap the group at about 40 to account for instruments available.
INFO AND REGISTRATION
Would you please share the information with your families?
There is also a band group directly afterwards from 1:15-2:00pm.
Students who already have an instrument to use from Duggan are welcome! (CMSS has loaned out our whole inventory!)
Students who would like to join beginner strings can join the Friday group. I have about 10 violins and 5 violas left to lend. If students already have some string playing experience, they can join the Tuesday group.
Thanks so much,
Eleni
